Tommy’s first film Coming Down the Mountain (BBC1) was nominated for a BAFTA (Best Single Drama). Since then Tommy has won several Best Actor awards for lead roles in short films at film festivals in the UK and overseas. He joined the cast of Line of Duty on stage at the National Television Awards in 2021 for his role as Terry Boyle.
The documentary Growing Up Downs which featured Tommy paying Hamlet was nominated for an International Emmy.
In July 2021, Tommy received an hon. Doctor of Arts at the University of Winchester,
Tommy is a full member of BAFTA, an Ambassador for Mencap, Ambassador for the National Down Syndrome Policy Group, and Patron of the Portsmouth Down Syndrome association.

Fighter won BEST FILM at FILM LONDON, was selected as SHORT OF THE WEEK at the BFI London Film Festival, nominated BEST FILM at Chelmsford Film Festival, and officially selected for Lift Off Global Berlin and Cinequest.

‘Down and Out’ was officially selected for 22 festivals in the UK and US including the International New York Film Festival, Finalist at TMFF (Glasgow), award winner Frostbit International Indie Fest (Colorado USA), semi finalist Los Angeles CineFest and nominated best overall film at the Birmingham International Film Festival.
